YogiAthlete is a fusion of mind, body and sport to enhance athletic performance. YogiAthlete provides athletes with the tools they need on and off the field and into life - all through the gift of yoga.

YogiAthlete does not limit training to professional or student athletes - our purpose is to introduce the benefits of yoga, meditation and plant-based eating to communities that need it most, which is why Eat Move Meditate came to life. YogiAthlete welcomes all ages and all levels of practice.



Amir, former professional football athlete and founder of YogiAthlete, has a passion for strength and conditioning and specializes in teaching yoga to athletes. Benefits that Amir and his students have gained are: muscle recovery, injury prevention, community building, increase in strength, increased endurance, balance, mindfulness, increase in awareness, improved digestive system, stronger immune system, elevated moods, and an increase in vitality.



Born and raised in Los Angeles, Amir developed a strong interest in serving members of his community and educating others on how to sustain a healthy, plant-based lifestyle. Amir received a scholarship to play football, is a former professional arena football player, became a personal trainer, and completed his RYT-200 Hot Yoga Teacher Training as well as his Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Los Angeles, CA. Amir understands the importance of strength and conditioning, nutrition, and the interconnection between body and mind. From previous experience with working directly with athletes, Amir has found a significant increase in range of motion, improvement in flexibility, increase in speed, prevention of injuries, and overall enhancement in health, wellΒ­being, and mental awareness when yoga was incorporated into the training.
